As a solopreneur, I'm often on the lookout for the best methodologies for productivity.
I don't have a team, I don't have a board of directors, and I don't have resources to apply broadly, so I spend a lot of time determining how I can scale my impact and optimize my workflow.
Of all the productivity hacks I've gathered, the state of 'Deep flow' is my favorite.
Flow is a state of mind that occurs when you're challenged but not stuck in your work. Time ceases to exist in this state and the mind and body run freely within the given domain.
Deep flow takes this a step further.
In the deep flow state challenges cease to exist and answers seem to appear from the void.
In deep flow there is no hard or easy. Domain structures dissolve into their easily consumable components. There are only solutions and progress. It feels like the conscious and subconscious mind connect and make leaps together they couldn't apart.
I do not know how to tap into deep flow yet. The conditions feel rigid and ever moving.
I do know that domain expertise and patience is required.
I do know that flow is the first step.
I do believe the key to a great life is living, as much as possible, in the state of flow and deep flow.
